DMA's Share Of Wallet Model was designed to uncover where
your institution’s opportunities exist relative to your own
relationship base and the overall market for the non-relationships
at large. The model evaluates whether or not your
institution is getting its fair share of penetration, product usage,
share of product, and share of wallet, on an overall basis, and by
geography and by product, in terms of relationships, accounts, and
dollar balances. Most importantly, the model focuses on the
profitability potential and the opportunities for enhancing
profitability through targeting for greater share of wallet.
