COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:

DMA is actively involved in our communities, and we take our involvement seriously, both at a company level and at the individual employee level.   

As a company, DMA is involved in many important community organizations, including:  

• Breast Cancer: American Cancer Society - This organization is dedicated to providing resources for finding cures for cancer.  DMA actively supports this important organization, and donates time and hosts a company-wide volunteer effort for the “Strides Against Breast Cancer.”

• Arts: The Oregon Symphony - This organization provides world-class symphonic music to all audiences, including many important outreach programs, bringing symphonic music and the arts to everyone.  DMA actively supports this important organization.

• People In Need: Make A Wish Foundation - This organization provides joyful experiences to children with life-threatening medical conditions, through its wish-granting work.  DMA actively supports this important organization.

And, key DMA executives are and have been involved in a variety of boards/committees/foundations for many organizations, including The Portland Opera, Portland State University, Oregon Graduate Institute, Saturday Academy (dedicated to providing after school programs to enrich learning), SOLV (dedicated to raising awareness of environmental concerns), Housing and Development Commission (dedicated to the development of low-income housing), The Business Roundtable (dedicated to supporting business development opportunities), and many others.  DMA encourages and supports its staff to become actively involved in community organizations, serving diverse communities.
